Warren IS a social justice warrior. She's way out there on the fringe with Bernie Sanders. And I guarantee you a lot of Democrats are wishing they had nominated Sanders right now.

Looking at the election result map - Sanders would have won.
Go ahead and name a single state that went Hillary that would have went Trump had Bernie beat her....none.
However, I do not believe Trump would have won the entire upper midwest against Sanders who had strong support there.

Look at West Virginia(which very much like the areas Trump won in the rust belt).

Tons of people who voted for Sanders in the West Virginia primary admitted they would vote for Trump in the general regardless of whether Sanders won the nomination or not.

The only support Sanders has that Hillary didn't is most of the alt-left, and that would go to Trump as well.

Sanders would get even less minority votes than Hillary got, and many of the less crazy white Democrats would vote for Trump. A slight uptick in Democratic youth votes would not make up for this.

Well, they're not leaving and neither are we so either things stay the same or they change. I don't share your optimism about it being any different as much as I'd like to see it. I'm from Detroit and used to believe Motown records was the single greatest bridge between the two races there would ever be. And then Barry Gordy FLED to LA and that was the end of that. I have no idea how Trump changes the black attitude but if he can I'd applaud it.
