Can we assume the following (for the most part)?:
Republicans are conservatives
Conservatives are Prodestants
And
Democrats are liberals
Liberals are non-Prodestants.

Isn't this what it really comes down to?
The Bible is true - vote Republican
The Bible is false - vote Democrat.
Is it the Bible that is actually dividing Americans?

The problem with this is the democrats think they are "holier than thou". Nancy Pelosi claims to pray and claims God is on her side. They think Jesus taught open borders and saving the planet from global warming.

So you can't really get the facts by just asking.

Well, I know Republicans that aren't conservatives and I know Democrats that aren't liberals. I don't know many Protestants period. The Bible is a collection of stories written by men, compiled and edited by men, and subject to every interpretation under the sun that no one can seem to decide on. So no, the Bible isn't dividing Americans. Your assumptions don't work. The question of division in this country is a complicated one. Demographics for the most part. Conflict between an aging Boomer population and an up and coming Millennial generation.

If you think they're prodestants, you're probably a braindead Trump sheep

The prodestants are a nasty lot. LOL

Perhaps learn something about religion before commenting on it.

What you did was create a illogical false assumption of demographics, where is the stats to backup yer opinion on the matter?
Whose stats?

there are lib academics that can spin any stat you want

Where do ancap/agorist agnostics fit into your facile model?

BTW, it's "protestants",

You can't define the division based on religion. Many people follow religions other than Christianity. Americans are very diverse, religiously speaking, and many do not declare a religion. Even in the Christian faith, there are many different sects with many different opinions about the bible and other issues. Among Protestants alone, there are many different sects. Christians vote for both major parties.

The OP basis his theory only on the one particular variation/sect that he follows and that the republican party has mistakenly hitched its wagon to.
