The difference between Republicans and democrats

Democratic initiatives to help the poor and working class

Under Bill Clinton:
  • Expansion of the Earned Income Tax Credit in the 1990s, which significantly boosted incomes for working families.

Under Barack Obama:
  • Affordable Care Act
Expanded health insurance coverage through Medicaid expansion, subsidies, and protections for preexisting conditions.
  • Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act
Increased financial regulations after the 2008 financial crisis and created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Under Joe Biden:
  • American Rescue Plan Act of 2021
Included stimulus checks, expanded child tax credits, unemployment aid, and poverty reduction measures.
  • Inflation Reduction Act
Included prescription drug cost reductions, clean energy investments, and healthcare subsidy extensions.

Not the Democrats of today. If the Democrats stood up for the working class instead of putting DEI and Woke as higher priority, Democrats would have won the Election.
Good point

Republicans effectively convinced workers that they are struggling because of WOKE and DEI not because their employers are slashing wages and benefits

Short term spike, long term debt
Again, untrue...But, the only fact here is now, is your credibility. You tried the usual, worn out bull shit from liberal know nothings that want to control all of American's income. the fact of the matter is that the 2017 tax cuts not only have paid for themselves, but continued to drive the investiment, and consumer confidence that has kept our nation strong, and prosperous ever since...The only reason loser liberals like you hate them is because you believe that only government is qualified to handle the money American's make....Screw that.

Conservative principles lead to wealth creation.
Liberal principles lead to poverty.
Conservative principles allow the rich to get richer
Liberal principles protect the rights of the poor and working class

Democrats in red states are a huge drag, that's for sure. They tend to be very poor. County by county maps in these states show this.
Blue areas tend to be wealthier than red areas

Democrats stand up for the poor and working class
Republicans stand up for the wealthy
Then why are the poorest large cities almost ALL run by Democrats ? I live in Philly area. Philly is a Democratic run shithole.
Democrat SAY they care bout the poor and working class but they don't do a damn thing to help them, for decades now.
Democratic policies are meant to keep people poor.
WAKE UP.
  • Detroit, MI (~33-38% poverty): Democrat-controlled for ~60 years.
  • Cleveland, OH: Long-time Democrat.
  • Baltimore, MD: Democrat-dominated.
  • Philadelphia, PA: Strongly Democrat (often called "America's poorest big city" among top 10 metros).
  • Memphis, TN, Newark, NJ, Buffalo, NY, Milwaukee, WI, St. Louis, MO — same pattern.

Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are the economic engines of your state

Blue areas tend to be the large population centers. That's where the money is. However, the engines that provides the wealth is run by Republicans. Democrats are just sucking at the teat of Republican business and industry.

Good point on wages and benefits. So why would employers put a premium priority on DEI and Woke hiring over Merit?
