Besides the said pros, globalization poses a few cons like intense competition, no safety for local businesses, rise of monopoly and deformation of cultures.

It is clear that the opposition to globalization is more due to a fixation on an ideology with a big dose of xenophobia , rather than a careful and rational consideration of the benefits. The fact is that globalization is a fact of life and inescapable. The alternative to be isolated like North Korea. Some Anto Globalists have expressed fear that in the coming decades , the US will no longer be a superpower, a prediction echoed by the World Economic forum
