The curious contrast of NYC Dems and VA Dems on the issue of Israel/Gaza

NYC Dems aren't very happy with Israel. Zohran Mandami, an outspoken critic of Israel, is ahead in the polls for Nov Mayor election.

Virginia Dems are just the opposite. They seem lockstep with Abigail Spanberger, currently leading in the polls for Nov GOV election. And Spanberger is 180 degrees from Zohran on the issue of Israel...

So, apparently, the Israel/Gaza issue means a lot to Dems in NYC, not so much in Virginia. Curious....


or is it that the Virginia polls show the same thing as NYC with Dem voters, but there are a shocking number of "Spanberger Republicans" in Virginia...

According to this poll, which has the integrity of admitting it really doesn't know if self IDed "independents" really are independents....

VCU poll: Spanberger leads. Why? Independents back her more than 2-1 over Earle-Sears.

Democrats lead all three statewide races, but the lieutenant governor’s race is within the margin of error. Ghazala Hashmi is particularly weak with independents.
