The virus isn't killing anyone who isn't already dying...and two, the stats are off as it has become profitable to claim non-covid deaths as covid deaths----insurance companies and the government PAY MORE $$$$$ for those listed as COVID patients or as COVID deaths....giving hospitals, doctors, medical transport, and others a motive $$$$ to list hospitalizations and deaths as Covid. This is why Covid is mostly killing those of dying of something else.....if Covid wasn't around they still would have died and the medical involved would have made less money with a different cause of death/hospitalization listed.

Its been over 10 months, and likely the vaccine won't really be available for another 6 months for most people, so there is no "lightning fast development of a cure", and a vaccine is not a cure.
Compare this with accelerated herd immunity, which could have ended it in March.
There is no one who should be getting any credit for anything.
They all dropped the ball.
All doctors have to know that flattening the curve is a terrible idea.
What I was talking about was profits, not credit.
Big Pharma wants profits, and there was no way for them to make money by ending the epidemic quickly through accelerated herd immunity.
It is only by prolonging the epidemic that they could profit from testing and vaccines.
And it is only the prolonging of the epidemic that allows for a vaccine to be sold, because if we had ended it in March, a vaccine to a virus that is NOT endemic to humans so is never coming back, would be worthless.
And by the way, the reason they got a vaccine so "quickly" is that it is really borrowed from vaccines developed years ago for other coronaviruses, like SARS.
And it will likely be just as useful as a SARS vaccine, which is to say, not at all.
so were living in a country that can dictate who can visit a private home, and further encouraging neighbors ratting out violators ......
