Clinton said Friday "it was clearly inappropriate" that Wang was allowed into the February White House reception for donors and dignitaries.

"We have to do a better job of screening people who come in and out of here," Clinton said at a news conference. "I am disappointed."

The White House is investigating reports that Wang was brought to the White House by Charles Yah Lin Trie, an Asian-American restaurant owner and longtime friend of the president.
