What?
What kind of idiotic excuses are you trying to peddle.
Peter Navarro was (and still is) a White House insider.
His “Green Bay sweep” was part of Trump’s insurrection plan.
Bannon played a key role in promoting it.
As for your bullshit accusation that his comments on MDNBC were a “a dog and pony show”(a charge that makes no sense at all),, no one entrapped Navarro.
He was asked an open ended question, and described the broad outline of the Jan 6th o live tv. I saw it live. It was astounding.
Perhaps you can explain your claim that describing a plot that you authored to overthrow the government was “saving his arse”
The claim is just plain ridiculous.
Of course, the Eastman Memo was already out there.
Eastman was also a White House insider, and his plot outline was widely distributed prior.
I doubt that you read it.
Ari Melber is the one doing arse covering with his "gotcha questioning" and distortions on what happened and how those who lacked integrity to review the election irregularities that placed the results in dispute, hinted at fraud; were correct in declining to investigate..
Basically Ari is covering for those who stole the election by supporting blocking investigation into the irregularities.
Nothing in this "interview" provides conclusive proof, or even hint of, a planned "coup".
BTW, nothing that happened on Jan. 6, 2021 would fit the classic definition of a coup.
No elected or hired government officials were physically taken and removed or arrested, nor did anyone claimed they were the new "office holder" for anyone currently in office.

>coup d’état, the sudden, violent overthrow of an existing government by a small group. The chief
prerequisite for a coup is control of all or part of the armed forces, the police, and other military elements. Unlike a
revolution, which is usually achieved by large numbers of people working for basic social, economic, and political change, a coup is a change in power from the top that merely results in the abrupt replacement of leading government personnel. A coup rarely alters a nation’s fundamental social and economic policies, nor does it significantly redistribute power among competing political groups.
