Candidates drop out. If its disenfranchisement of Biden's voters for his delegates to vote for someone other than him after he dropped out, then its disenfranchisement for Haley's voters. And Cruz's in 2016. And McCain's voters in 2000. And every voter to ever cast a vote for a candidate who dropped out in any election.

And by 'forced out', you mean that some democrats expressed their concerns that Biden couldn't win and would hurt their races. And Biden decided it would be a distraction for him to stay in the race, so he chose to drop out for the good of the nation and the party.

The democrats are thrilled to have Harris, with democratic satisfaction with their nominee skyrocketing from 4 in 10 with Biden to 8 in 10 with Harris. And Harris received Biden's endorsement.
