The problem here is that people are looking to blame the other side. As soon as the shooting happened, they want to be able to blame the other side.

A man is dead and the motivation was terrorism as far as I am concerned.

Regardless of his background or his mental state, there are no winners and no matter what is said or done this point forward, nothing will bring Charlie back.

That's the way evil works. Years of education convincing the young that America is evil and anyone who thinks differently from them is evil has contributed to this. I think over 30% of students today believe violence against someone who doesn't agree with them is acceptable.
