The campaign to make Richard Nixon great again

The OP violates the rules for posting.

Additionally, as I keep repeating, this moron never returns to his threads.

Why do you respond to him....he's not answering.

Sorry, if you are suffering from cleaner air and streams. Maybe you can find a way to live with it.
Don’t pull that shit with me. Why don’t you throw in the “for the children” while you are at it. I’m all for clean air and streams. What I am not in favor of is using clean air and streams as a means to over-regulate the US to the point it hinders the economy and / or provides a medium for Democrats to reward cronies.

He was referring to the cost of energy and subsequent growth of dependency culture.
Clarety matters. I for one, appreciate the times in our history, where Republicans stood up to codify protection of the country, our air, our water quality, even though against the wishes and profits of corporations and private polluters. I actually still get out, hike, bike, ski, swim, kayak clear white water streams, and visit areas, once dead or dying, due to polution, flowing from upstream areas, even across state line, where unrestricted dumping killed fish, coated rocks, affecting the land adjacent to rivers dying of neglect for our natural resources, individuals have no ability to fight against, but had to suffer the loss.

You should see the improvement in the Potomac river between 1977 and now. Nothing short of miraculous improvement.
Yin yang is the democrats use of the EPA to demonize fossil fuel and destroy the economy.

The difference between Nixon and most of the other Presidents in recent history is that the was caught. And may I suggest that his crimes were tame compared to the crimes of more recent Presidents.

My "children" are between 36 and 48 years old, perfectly able to speak for themselves.
If you are that antienvironment, or have your own economic/business needs to abuse the rest of us, you will just have to live with it, the way we all did, before the EPA was formed. You can be like a renter, apparently. Move in, trash, and when too trashy in the neighborhood unprotected by covenants, simply move on to trash somewhere else.
I am sorry if you will be prevented from externalizing the costs of your operation onto the public at large, for free.

Nixon wasn't a conservative President like many folks believe. He helped create the EPA and normalized relations with China. He also withdrew the military from Vietnam.

As I stated, I am all about clean air, water, and other natural resources. Again, what I am against is using clean energy initiatives as a medium to overregulate US industry on such a level that hinders the economy. There is a difference. Please tell me you are not willing to forgo any questioning of uncapped, unchecked regulatory policies, taxes, fines and fees all because someone merely mentions “clean air”. The US already outperforms China and India on clean energy. I’m proud of that.

I don't like Nixon, but do not remember any of his clean energy initiatives.
