Zone1 The biggest difference between Catholicism and Protestantism.

Well considering they picked and chosen what was in the bible, I would say they do. Its their book.
The christian religion is built upon what constantine believed.
I'm pretty sure God can manage his written word regardless of what men do to it. What the Roman church did was preserve the holy writings until they could be read by everyone. Protestantism was born out the differences between what scripture says and what Catholics do.

Catholics evolved from Jesus’s Disciples
St Peter

Protestants evolved from Martin Luther
Protestantism was mostly an organic movement that sprung from the widespread access to the Bible thanks to the printing press. The Catholics had a fit and charged Guttenberg with heresy.

There's no evidence that the "lost sheep of the house of Israel" went to Italy.

Catholics created Christianity
Protestants stole it

Being Catholic is like playing on the Varsity
Being Protestant is like playing on the JV

Catholics believe they have the authority to change the meaning of scripture.
Protestants do not claim such authority. From there comes most of the other differences.
