It was a signature military identity that was supposed to make surrounding nations cow into submission and not even bother to field an army when they were challenged. Skin color was not an Issue....the Babylonians were a swarthy people but not black Africans....they were certainly also not Caucasian and they were definitely also equal opportunity oppressors.
It's hard to say how many women suffered at their hands but it's not hard to condemn what they did. Now I would expect that anyone holding onto any kind of picture, image or likeness of anything that reminded me of that time to be totally shamed into surrendering such from public display no? Other than that we could say that such people are haters of pregnant women...and fetuses too!
One persona that was on hand for all of this was Lady Liberty...that's right....the stately woman holding the torch over NYC harbor. In fact she was there for the bloodshed of Rome, Egypt, Greece and Syria too ....yes Lady Liberty has made the rounds folks.
Why is it OK to have such an Image as this that has been at the scene of the crime now for thousands of years? Anyone? Is it OK to teach our children that this is a symbol of freedom when in reality it is just a symbol of death and destruction?

Of course it's OK. Because despite whatever that statue represented in the past in our Modern Era it has become the symbol of much, much more. Are we so weak minded and stupid that we would be overthrown by such indiscriminate weak minds as those who would have us bury and destroy everything that ever resembled anything bad or was ever associated with anything bad?
The perpetrators of the Confederate flag issue are not concerned for Racial Justice...they are concerned with destroying one of the strongest and most patriotic segments of America and it's not just a White Segment BTW...plenty of blacks have grown up with the Bars and Stars in their backyard and learned to love it as a part of their own heritage.
These are the Anti-American opportunists who seek at every turn to erase yet another foundation block of Americana. Sure the civil war was a bloody war and it was an unfortunate war but it was fought anyway...can't change that now. To narrowly define the Confederate Flag as a symbol or slavery is no different than confining the statue of liberty to a killer of pregnant women and just as totally retarded....Unless of course it's all part of the Fundamental Transformation plans emanating from the chief ( HALF WHITE ) traitor in the oval office.
