Don't mean to argue. But I do not have a computer, and am on the net at work. SOOOO, other than this website - another outdoors website and various news websites.......that is the extent of my internet use.
I do go to other various public safety and military websites and read threads......but am not a member, I just read the threads.
No porn or sex sites, and I do not click on the links to see what they are, OTHER than the one I just posted - Woman in lab coat & lingerie.

The way browsing history works.. is you go to a web page that has a pic of a new computer on it... and the adtool marks you down as someone that may be interested in buying that new computer. Same with lingerie. If someone on this web site posts lingerie well you get more. If you want something different bring up amazon and google and search for some other stuff like cars and cell phones. Or you can install adblock like I do and never see any advertising.
Again - not my computer. And everyone with access in the computer shop can see every page I look at and monitor every key stroke I type. On the internet as well as off.
Some years ago, I had email problems at my last job. I don't remember specifics, but I had emails in my sent box at work ( A Metropolitan EMS ) that I did not send, discrepancy's in emails - email that were there.....but portions - text or paragraphs were missing.
Anyhow I went to the Internet ( I.T ) guy ( I believe his name was Tracy ???? ) at his office and told him of my email problems. No conversation, he downplayed the whole incident and turned around - to the best of my recollection. I suspect his heart was racing about 150 beats per minute.
I believe sincerely = My email was being actively and routinely monitored. AND, my email was being changed by the "Internet Folks" at work ( Metropolitan EMS I worked at ). I was being actively spied on.
After that meeting I was forced to work overtime, with a great number of other ambulances coming on duty. I would work, drive an hour or so home, get a few hours of sleep, then back to work for another 14 hour shift. I was singled out for harder work , overtime selection on the worse of ambulance stations, followed to and from work, followed into convenience stores at a truck stop south of the county seat - and associates and friends spy on me. They made it harder.
I left, turned in my two week resignation and took a job for a Department Of Defense Contractor ; to have a schedule to go to nursing school. I desperately wanted to be a pediatric nurse.....or an Emergency Room nurse. Hard times from some current work supervisors ; and supervisors whom had to "be in control" ; and I was after going to school for so long and so close to my degree ; denied shift trades and days off to attend nursing school. I needed Microbiology to get into the full blown nursing program. Some people in HR I believe.....condoned and or instigated the hardships toward me. No three or four day work weeks, making better money and doing what at the time I wanted to do = Pediatric Nursing, or Emergency Nursing. About eleven years later.....so I am a little bit to old to do what I so badly wanted ; do to what I believe was "Sanctioned Activity"
