Debate Now The Absurdity of 'Woke'

Nope. His brother is a huge Trump supporter.

It's very easy to see that His Holiness is a very based conservative Catholic. As soon as the left cult starts understanding this, the din is going to become delightfully loud!

Bring it on.

Home activation is quick and simple.

1. Go to your city's closest love store.
2. Find a box of love beads..
3. Read the instructions.
4. Go home and follow the instructions.
5. It works for any string of beads.
6. Your beads are now fully activated. (ready to answer your prayers any time you're in the mood)

Yeah, sure, you know a lot about the religion you want to abolish!

But you said the beads have to be "activated" by the Pope in order for them to work, in post #151. Was the Pope in your living room the last time you "activated" your magic prayer-answering beads?

New pope shared criticism of JD Vance — and Trump's immigration policies

In February, the now-pope shared a National Catholic Reporter article that criticized Vice President JD Vance's response to a question on immigration. Vance is Catholic convert who met with Pope Francis last month, just one day before Francis' death.

In an interview, Vance had said Christian teachings advocate for prioritizing love, first for family, then neighbors, community, fellow citizens, and lastly, the world.

Prevost quoted the article's headline: "JD Vance is wrong: Jesus doesn't ask us to rank our love for others."

His most recent repost, in April, shared commentary from a Catholic writer on Mr. Trump's meeting with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele. The post called the deportation of Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador "illicit" and asked: "Do you not see the suffering? Is your conscience not disturbed? How can you stay quiet?"

In 2018, he reposted Cardinal Blase Cupich's criticism of the Trump administration's family separation policy during Mr. Trump's first term.

In 2017, he reposted a California Catholic Conference statement opposing the administration's stance on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals immigration policy, or DACA, which allows immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally as minors to live and work here.

Leo has also posted on gun control and abortion

Following the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas which killed 58 people, Prevost reposted a statement from Cupich calling for "increased access to mental health care and stronger, sensible gun control laws."

He also shared a statement from Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut criticizing political inaction on gun safety that read in part, "Your cowardice to act cannot be whitewashed by thoughts and prayers."

So from this we can conclude what? That Pope Leo has no mind or opinion of his own but can be counted on to just parrot whatever others write or post?

"Woke" is structured on the premise that continued institutional and societal racism continues and is the reason for the condition of the black American.

Furthered with the notion that egalitarian, re-distributive policy will right these perceptions.

It really is contradictory to how most "whiteys" conduct themselves and thus becoming more alienating to those who are otherwise potential allies.

Acknowledging history makes one smart. Denying history as the OP routinely does makes one intellectually dishonest.

So how about a history of African failure, especially of sub-Saharans and their spawn?
You racists don't get try try making part of Africa white to perpetuate a lie. There is no such thing as sub saharan Africa and if you want to talk about Africa, you cannot leave out white colonization and its effects.

There is no such premise. There is however, documented evidence and fact showing that continued institutional and societal racism continues and is the reason for the condition of the black American and other non white populations. There is nothing contradictory about documented evidence and what's disgusting is how whites like you lie about it as you particpate in the racism. Potential and true allies recognize what has been and continues to be done.

Let me address this one seperately.

These things are not perceptions. Furthermore whites have benefitted from income redistribution and from income denial to non white people. This is why learning correct history is so important.

In the last century alone whites received the equivent of over 1 quintillion dollars in gvernment economic assistance that blacks were denied. This is not my opinion based on hatred of whites, it is documented fact bsed on federal government policies made by whites.

Black Reparations for Twentieth Century Federal Housing Discrimination: The Construction of White Wealth and the Effects of Denied Black Homeownership

Boston University Public Interest Law Journal, Volume 29, Issue 135 (Winter 2019)

Jane Kim

Columbia University - Law School; Harvard University
Date Written: December 1, 2019

This paper examines the U.S. government’s instigation, participation, authorization, and perpetuation of federal housing discrimination against black-Americans from the 1930s to the 1980s and the damage that such discrimination caused and continues to cause today.

Part I examines the U.S. government’s housing practices—from the New Deal until the 1968 Fair Housing Act and its 1988 Amendments—to reveal that although the New Deal’s national housing programs revolutionized homeownership and home equity in the United States, the U.S. government’s federal housing programs were racially discriminatory. Specifically, and quite shockingly, the U.S. government actively created and promulgated racist neighborhood rating systems that constructed black neighborhoods and black property as unstable, volatile, hazardous, and not worthy of investment. Using these racist rating systems, the federal government endorsed racial covenants and invested federal money into the creation and accumulation of white wealth, the value of whiteness, white suburbia, and white homeownership. Meanwhile, the government denied blacks federal housing funding, fueling black stigma and barring black-Americans from the invaluable twentieth century opportunities of homeownership and home equity.

Understanding the U.S. government’s discriminatory housing practices, Part II discusses and quantifies the effects of the government’s housing discrimination on black-American households and communities. Finding that approximately 120 billion 1950s dollars—or more than 1.239 quintillion 2019 dollars—were invested to subsidize and create white-American wealth through homeownership...

This is not a perception, so it time for whites like this to stop trying to gas light people. Your gaslighting only increases the animosity blacks have towards whites and it hurts the efforts of whites who actually are not racists and do want fairness. If there is anything that is going to turn anyone racist or that keeps us divided because of race, it is whites who try to gasight.

Most of the history the right wants taught is altered. Things are documented.
I was told by an ex-military, retired Lieutenant General who happened to be my 6th grade history teacher at the time.........that history in our American history books are all lies. History is written by those in power that want the people to know exactly what they think we can handle, or what they want us to know. Even if its lies.

My teacher also stated that history itself, such as anything political, war related, or religious related is ALL written by the winners of conflicts. They write the history THEY want, not what really happened.

Which is what politicians have done to our public schools. Rewritten our history books so many times, that theres nothing left of reality or what really happened.
