That Didn’t Take Long

Got to love how many are willing to get the U.S. young killed in a war with Turkey. Turkey was going to invade whether we stayed or not. Funny how many have such blood lust they will find any excuse to continue war.
If the rest of the world is so worried about the Kurds why are they not standing in Turkeys way? Why is NATO not stopping one of its members?

We run a deficit each year yet some want to spend more money policing the world. We send young people back to our country in coffins each year yet some want more dead sent back. Maybe it is time that we actually let others do some of the dying.
Sometimes we police the world and sometimes we`re the instigators. We never did find those darn WMDs did we?
Lol and WMDs have what to do with the current administrations decision not to go to war against Turkey?

That US intelligence agencies have their own agenda
Especially if a Republican is in charge?

"'We know that we would have to make painful compromises with Moscow and Bashar al-Assad if we go down the road of working with them,' Mazloum Abdi, the SDF's commander-in-chief, wrote in an article for Foreign Policy on Sunday. The earth is over populated anyway
The earth is over populated anyway
Luckily for planet Earth, Assad and Putin are up for it:

Kurds Turn to Bashar al-Assad for Protection as U.S. Abandons Former Allies to Turkish Assault | Democracy Now!

"Syrian troops are massing near the Turkish border, one day after Bashar al-Assad’s government reached a deal to help protect the Kurds from Turkey’s deadly air and ground assault.

"On Sunday, the Kurds agreed, in a deal brokered by Russia, to hand over two border towns to the Syrian government in exchange for protection.

"The Kurds had been allied with the United States up until last week, when President Trump abruptly pulled U.S. troops from northern Syria, paving the way for Turkey’s assault. More than 130,000 people have already been displaced over the past five days since Turkey invaded northern Syria.

"The death toll is unknown."

Of course Assad is going to help boot the Turks and ISIS out of Syria. If the Kurds couldn't get help from us, going to Putin was the only other option. They are getting the bejesus bombed out of them.

Trump's decision, though, to let the Turks have their way with the Kurds was not to continue collecting licensing fees on Trump Towers Istanbul. He doesn't own it--just gets payments on the brand name, which is the same as many of his other properties and one property is not going to make him or break him, either way. It may be part of the reason Trump is friendly with Erdogan, though--he no doubt struck up a friendly relationship with Erdogan when the Towers were being conceived/built. All the fat cats smoke cigars at the same club, in a metaphorical sense.

By some accounts Turkey is counting on ISIL as an ally?

"Turkey actually bombed the ISIS prisons so that they can escape. So Turkey is — I mean, actually, Süleyman Soylu, the Turkish interior minister, five days ago, when asked at a TV program, when Turks were concerned about the potential ISIS attack, he was like, 'Be comfortable. No need to be concerned. They don’t have any option but to ally with us.' So they’re very openly allying with ISIS."

Nice conspiracy theory. How do you explain this?

Your link has a pretty good explanation:

"'Pleased to have a conversation with Senator @LindseyGrahamSC this morning,' Pelosi tweeted. 'Our first order of business was to agree that we must have a bipartisan, bicameral joint resolution to overturn the president's dangerous decision in Syria immediately.'

"McConnell said he looks forward to talking with his colleagues in the Senate and with senior administration officials about 'what the United States can do to avoid a strategic calamity.'"

Maybe Moscow Mitch wasn't getting his cut?

From the sound of things over there, we're well out of it. They'll be duking it out for years.
