I was a Navy recruiter on active duty for almost 3 years 1987-1990 and an Army civilian contract online recruiter for 4 years 2018-2022.

Each branch has UNITS that include armies, divisions, air wings, regiments, battalions, companies, platoons, squads and in the Navy's case fleets. The Space Force is a branch that operates under the auspices of the Air Force, much the same way as the Marine Corps operates under the department of the Navy. Educate yourself.
