Thanks Obama! Obamacare more popular than ever says report.

Obamacare has been a smashing success despite Republicans' repeated attempts to kill it. A win for the good guys. Even Florida, which Republicans try to legislate themselves back into the dark ages are loving their Obamacare.

The federal program, which was signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2010, is more popular than ever nationwide, too. A record 14.5 million people signed up for this year, surpassing the previous high by almost 2 million. That’s despite Republican attempts to challenge it in court and abolish it during President Donald Trump’s term.

It’s so popular they made it illegal to NOT sign up for it, shitforbrains.

Yup. They had to force people to sign up.

And they used total number of people on Obamacare as “proof” thst more people had insurance. All it meant was that more people had an insurance CARD.

If your income tended to the lower end, it was great - big subsidies paid for by other people, and if you were poor enough, other people even paid your co-shares. For those in the middle, say earning $60,000, all of a sudden they found themselves with costly premiums, as much as $1000 a month for even the cheapest plan, and then you had to be out of pocket for up to $6,000 before the “insurance” paid a cent.

Even more ironic, those of us in the middle class and forced onto expensive Obamacare plans with high deductibles was the fact that sometimes your out of pocket payment was MORE than if you were uninsured entirely. Hard to believe, but I needed PT, and the cost per session with Obamacare was $130. For the uninsured, it was $90.

P.S. My doctor wanted me to go to PT twice a week, but I couldn’t afford it now that I was “insured” by Obamacare. Who can pay $1000 a month for non-coverage, and then an extra $260 a week in top of that? Obama really screwed the middle class.

Gee it's easy to be popular when it's mandated by law and the only choice

The link in the OP tells that story. A 35 year old guy workng 30 hours a week making doughnuts getting a plan for $18.00 a month. WTF is a 35 year old guy making doughnuts in this economy? And I'm willing to bet he gets a host of other government goodies like food stamps and perhaps HUD.

This is what Democrats consider success? How about getting a better paying job with benefits guy? The reason is likely that he can't pass a drug screen which is required by most better paying jobs. But because he made bad choices in life, everybody else must pay.

Yup. And let’s say the 35-year-old loser making donuts part-time needs the same PT I did, and his doctor told him he needs 2x weekly sessions too. What happens?

The loser, with the $18 a month plan, also met his very low deductible, and now he gets the recommended treatment. I, the middle class worker who PREVIOUSLY had a decent plan before Obamacare, am paying up the kazoo for premiums and can’t afford the 2x a week treatment. So the loser ends up with better treatment, subsidized by others, than the responsible middle-class person!

In my case my employer dropped our coverage the day Commie Care started. But who cares about the working person? Not the left, that's for sure. When I lost my insurance, I brought up the subject to one of my tenants who worked at Pizza Hut. She said thanks to commie care she now has great medical coverage. She never got a real job because she was addicted to pot. So I lost my coverage so a person working at Pizza Hut can get the coverage I used to have. This is what the commies consider fair.

That’s similar to me. I was a self-employed business owner, paying for my own good insurance plan. Once Obamacare was forced down our throats, the individual marketplace was destroyed, and I was stuck with a high-premium, low-coverage plan. In the meantime, low-income people in the waiting room were bragging how everything was free!

The ultimate was when I cut my hand with a knife in the kitchen, and blood was everywhere. I wrapped my hand in a towel and headed off for the ER, three blocks away. Knowing how I had Obamacare “insurance” and a deductible of $6,000, I asked the fee. They couldn’t tell me, but did admit it would run into the thousands.

I asked for options and they told me I could go to an Urgent Care about 10 miles away, which is what I did, bloody hand and all. But here’s the kicker: in the waiting room were a bunch of Spanish-speaking people, waiting to be seen, with apparently no concern for cost. The reason MY premiums were so high, and MY fee for the ER was so high, was to offset the free care the low-income immigrants were getting.

There is something very wrong in America when the poor people get convenient, top-rate medical care while the middle-income worker has to drive half-hour away - and PAY for the better care the poor are getting.

That's why I said it was nothing but vote buying scheme using our tax dollars which Democrats do all the time when they have power. For instance it was mandated that all plans have birth control. So insurance companies had to provide it. While they were trying to pander to the female pro-choice crowd, they didn't have any mandate for my medication that's life sustaining. If I couldn't afford it, too bad. Die. People like you are not a very large voting group.

Like you, my employer stated that after Commie Care passed, his coverage was going to go up 35%. He simply couldn't afford it. But consider yourself lucky, at least they had a plan for your doctor and hospital. I'm a patient at the world famous Cleveland Clinic and have been all of my life. They don't sell any plans to cover that facility as a whole. Oh, there is one company that sells plans for different departments of the clinic, but I don't have a crystal ball to know what department I will need in the future, and I certainly can't afford to buy five or six different plans for the clinic to cover me no matter what department I needed.

Biden repeated what the left-leaning fact-checker PolitiFact rated its 2013 “Lie of the Year” on a stage in Nashville during the second and final presidential debate of the 2020 campaign. Biden was responding to a question on his own health care plan, which includes much of the same structure as Obamacare, when he launched into an erroneous defense of the ACA.

“The idea that I want to eliminate private insurance, the reason why I had such a fight with 20 candidates for the nomination was I support private insurance,” Biden said. “That’s why I didn’t, not one single person with private insurance would lose their insurance under my plan, nor did they under Obamacare. They did not lose their insurance unless they chose they wanted to go to something else.”

No, they really didn’t have a plan for my doctor.

I have a pretty rare condition, and if It advances to a “crisis” (which is out of my control), I need immediate care in the hospital. I had one such crisis before Obamacare, and the corrective surgery was $30,000, for the doctor’s fee and hospital. My only cost was the $1500 deductible.

After Obamacare, there was only ONE (poorly-rated) specialist in my network, but the hospital he practiced at was not in my network. That meant if I needed another surgery, I either had to pay the hospital bill in full or an out-of-network doctor in full. I would be out around $15,000 either way, and that was AFTER $12,000 in annual premiums. So If I needed the surgery - and thank G-d I‘ve been stable - my medical costs for that year alone would have been $27,000! And I’m someone whom Obamacare counted as “insured.”

People who think Obamacare is good either are the low-income who are getting it free or leftists who haven’t been a victim of it.

Yeah, that’s a lie all right. Millions lost their private insurance, and were left with no options but a more expensive and inferior Obamacare plan.

WRONG

Obamacare forced the healthy to buy insurance to pay for the sick aka wealth distribution and yet costs still went up.
Cost went up before Obamacare too. Don’t be a toad. Consider it an investment to provide poor people healthcare so they don’t die on your doorstep at your trailer park.

Should we thank him for putting us on the road to destruction? Should we thank him for setting race relations back 50 years? Should we thank him for starting the war on the police? Should we thank him for guaranteeing Iran will get the bomb?

Obama is the worst thing that ever happened to this country. He is pulling Incest Joe's strings and has put his designed destruction in 4th gear. Anyone who cannot see his hands in this disaster is kidding themselves.
You wrote "incest Joe"... here is a really sick photo...speaking of "his hands"!

Still over 31,000,000 under 65 uninsured under Obamacare.

He said everyone would have insurance. I call that a failure.
