Texas to arrest Sanctuary City Leaders, Police Chiefs, etc...

Most of those firearms deaths are suicides dumb ass please explain how you would PREVENT that?
it's obvious.

If they dont' have firearms they won't commit suicide by hanging, cutting their wrists, jumping off high places, drugs, smothering them selves, or any of a number of other ways that dont' require a firearm.

ya see...

the firearm makes them do it.

Golden Gate Bridge suicide barrier construction to start in 2017

I was being facetious.

some of these idiots actually believe if there were fewer firearms, there would be fewer suicides.

That does not mean what you think an unorganized militia actually improves the concept that ALL citizens should own possess and use firearms you retard.

33,000 gun deaths and 79,000 gun injuries a year, every year, I think the "unorganized" militia does more damage to us than most of the professional armies we've ever faced.
It culls the herd.

Especially in the inner cities, where pruning-back of feral riff-raff is a Win-Win.

While states like California are trying to find ways to defy President Trump by protecting criminal illegals, Texas is on the verge of passing legislation that would hold Mauors, police Ciefs, and other city officials accountable for enabling Sanctuary Cities.

If caught doing so, these coty officials could be SENT TO JAIL for breaking the law and aiding /abetting criminals.

GO, TEXAS! HUA!

Texas prepares to begin locking up leaders in sanctuary cities - Hot Air

"Texas would be the first in which police chiefs and sheriffs could be jailed for not helping enforce immigration law. They could also lose their jobs."

Ha.Ha.---Well I think that is a lot of "HOT AIR." City leaders are in charge of police and Sheriff's office's and it is they that will dictate where they spend money on crime. If they feel murder, rape, theft, robbery are more important--that is where they will DIRECT the attention too.

Furthermore--I doubt Texas has any written law regarding sanctuary cities--and without a written state statute regarding sanctuary cities within that state- then there is no law broken.

Which is the exact same problem Trump ran into with his executive order to defund sanctuary cities. Until CONGRESS comes up with a legal definition of what a sanctuary city is--and then a law regarding sanctuary cities and what to do with them is voted on and approved--there is no way to LEGALLY determine which cities are sanctuary and which ones aren't.

I have been asking the Right to define, "sanctuary city", for over two years, now, and have never had an answer. For example, South Tucson has declared itself a sanctuary city simply because the feds have refused to reimburse the city for the cost of detaining and incarcerating suspected undocumented immigrants, since they do not feel that it is right for the city to tax their resident citizens to enforce federal law. Since their citizens are already paying federal taxes for that purpose, they would be taxing their citizens twice.

So you and your city would be fine holding prisoners for ICE if they got reimbursed, or is it just an excuse to not enforce federal laws?

Not my decision to make, nor yours. Neither of us live in South Tucson. However, if you decide to move there, feel free to vote for a city council to raise your taxes to pay for enforcing federal law, even though it is not that city's responsibility to do so.

Nice dodge.

Ok, if you need further clarification, I don't give a rat's ass as to whether or not a city chooses to spend their money doing federal law enforcement, unless I live there. Neither do I care if the FBI starts handing out speeding tickets on highway 83 South. The whole thing about "sanctuary cities" is just hype. They are not protecting anyone. They just don't choose to get involved doing federal law enforcement, which is not their job, anyway.

Wrong
Most laws state what is prohibited and do not address what is permitted
There is no written law that the POTUS cannot impose conditions on municipalities who harbour those who commit crimes, being illegally in the USA is a crime libbies, so a few bought and paid for democratically appointed judges went on a fishing trip. Judges are not supposed to fish

Better aqueducts, better roads, and more well regulated militia; it was the Roman way, it should the way, of the Militia of the United States.

Red Herrings is a right wing specialty. You make it seem like crime doesn't happen but for illegals from south of the border.
What is it about the word "illegal" you don't get?
10USC311 is also, federal law; why do gun lovers believe they can be illegal to it.

No, it doesn't. That only applies to the Organized militia, not the UnOrganized slackers.
Hey moron how does the Unorganized Militia come armed to their duties if they have no right to ownership of firearms? RETARD
Nobody said they had to. The subject of Arms, is declared Socialized in Article 1, Section 8.

UnOrganized slackers in the process of becoming, well regulated militia of the United States, through better aqueduct and better road building; would have more desire to accomplish their objective, "or die trying".

If the supposed problem is not getting reimbursements, then maybe the state can step in, reimburse the cities, and then try to recoup that money from the feds. I'm sure that Trump wouldn't object to that.

i actually think it's nothing more than an excuse though. I think there are liberals who are going to resist just for the sake of being against deportations of illegals. The goal of the Democrat party is to make whites a minority as soon as possible. Deporting Mexicans makes that goal much harder to achieve.

Very true--Immigration is the sol Responsibility of the Federal Government. Which is why Seatlle Washington launched a law suit against Trump over his executive order to defund "Sanctuary Cities."
Seattle sues Trump administration over ‘sanctuary cities’ order

I demand that the federal government be defunded for not issuing speeding tickets on county roads!!!!!!!!

We voted for Trump, sorry kids, he may be a misogynist swine, but Obama opened the floodgates on uncritical voters. Sorry. Politicians are supposed to represent Us and ask US if we want to give illegals a sanctuary, instead of them blithely imposing it on Us without permission. It's still a democratic republic, and there is NO excuse for that, it's outrageous.
dear, States have no authority over Immigration into the Union since 1808.

And, health and safety and security, makes first degrees going first, both necessary and proper.
Implied by the Tenth Amendment

When the Feds don't fulfill their obligations, they forfeit their authority and it passes down to the states. If an outside guard sleeps on his watch, it is up to the inside guard to stop those breaking and entering.

Wonder how many were ghetto shootings?
I'd bet the majority.

I don't recall that clause in the Constitution. Perhaps you could link it.
