Texas has been at the forefront of renewable energy for a long time. We also have the lowest gas prices in the country.

By contrast, California pays the highest prices for gas, and has a very low rate of renewable energy energy usage, which is also prohibitively expensive for most people.

On a related note, was driving to northeast Texas over the weekend. Passed through miles of the giant windmills. Epic cool watching those suckers.
