What I've read is that the truck did cross the southern border in November but the driver was not suspect. How it came to be in the hands of the suspect terrorist is not clear. What is clear the terrorist was born in America, had two misdemeanor charges on his record, and based on the military gear he was wearing and what is described as an Islamic (ISIS) flag in the truck with him is likely yet another radicalized Islamic extremist willing to sacrifice his life for the glory of Allah or whatever.
