Governor Lee signs bill saying teachers don’t have to use student’s preferred pronouns
Critics of the law say it borders on speech that causes significant harm and could set up yet another lawsuit Tennessee might face on an anti-LGBTQ+ bill it passed this session.

Tennessee seems to be out front in not requiring schools and educators to go along with the larest transgender absurdity.
I have to say, as a teacher, I don't mind calling a student by their preferred pronoun, so long as their parents are aware of it. One thing I have learned as a behavior specialist is to pick my battles.
But, I would never support having a teacher forced to call a boy she or a girl he by District or any other policy.
