What means of classroom defense would be acceptable to teachers? School security has proven to be inadequate leaving classroom teachers as the last line of defense. It would be nice to hear from the teachers directly on this.

Yes, IMO by all means give guns to teachers......but first you have to be sure the teachers are sane, and separated them from those who are demented......because these days you have to be cautious.
