It was uncalled for for Trump to say what he said.
That said . . .
The anti-Trumpers on here should take a lesson from Rob Reiner's untimely death.
You never know when your number will be up. Especially the older posters on here.
Do you really want to live what could very well be your last days alive under a self-imposed cloud of hatred for one man? Whatever you imagine that Trump has done to you personally will not be fixed by your constant rage-posting and likely raging around your family and what friends you have left.
You ever see interviews with Holocaust survivors? They talk about how terrible it was, often how they were frightened until they finally gave up and didn't fear death anymore. They talk about people they lost, people whose death haunts them, etc.
What they don't do is work themselves into a frenzy by babbling on about
"Oh, oh! That HITLER! The WORST chancelor EVER! I hate him and I hate all of this Hitlerite SUPPORTERS! HE is the cause of ALL our problems. I HATE Hitler supporters! I don't talk to my cousin anymore becuase he once said 'Hitler did help the economy some.' Oooh, if he shows up at Thanksgiving, I'll beat him to death with a turkey leg!
"Weird MUSTACHE man BAD! Weird MUSTACHE man BAD! Weird MUSTACHE man BAD!"
They have way more reason to hate Hitler than you have to hate Trump, but they don't let Hitler live rent-free in their heads.
Get a grip. You are not only shortening your lives with the stress, but you are wasting what little may be left of it.
Well said!
At any rate, the few people under 40 who know who Rob Reiner is probably don't know much about his movies, but only know him as a disturbed person who spent the last decade of his life spewing violence, bigotry, and extreme hate online.
Most people would not be surprised to see a person like that die violently, most of them usually do.
