A reminder of what must be done:

"This is the moment when we separate the true believers from those who value their political survival over what conservatism requires. The next 18 months are all or nothing. We can't survive if we don't win on big issues like:

A final and complete rewrite of the immigration code codifying a guest worker program, the end of birthright citizenship, and a controlled border that an illegal alien or terrorist should fear attempting to cross
A prioritized return of illegal immigrants to their home countries
De-woking our government, especially our military
Growing the power of our military to deter foreign wars
Bringing manufacturing jobs back to the United States and end most welfare to fill those jobs created
Shrink the federal government by 1% a year, not growing it as Biden has, excluding the military, and reevaluating pay and benefits that frequently dwarf what is paid in the private sector for the same job classification
Rooting out partisanship throughout government that allowed FEMA personnel to think they could get away with bypassing damaged homes with Trump signs or flags or for the IRS to deny the non-profit status of conservative organizations without consequences
Change American foreign policy to be crystal clear. No more strategic ambiguity that had the effect of having our adversaries test us and find us not instantly reacting to provocations
End the cultural wars progressives enacted over the last 40 years. End the information wars and censorship Democrats have enacted in recent years
Bring God, ethics, and citizenship back into our classrooms starting in kindergarten
Ensure tolerance is a two-way street with no one threatened for their beliefs
Do whatever we can to strengthen two-parent families and increase their birth rates."

Gee, I thought you'd be posting some controversial points.

The only things I might modify are:
  1. A prioritized return of illegal immigrants to their home countries. I would change that to wherever they came from. If they came from Mexico across the southern border then let Mexico deal with it.
  2. Shrink the federal government by 1% a year, I might change that to 5-10% a year.

Trump would have to shrink spending $1 trillion a year for 3 years just to get back to pre-covid spending.

Interest on the Debt exploded under Biden, and is now more than $1T a year.
So if Elon can cut $2T off the Budget that would be a great start to get back to Trump-45's budget.
Then DOGE should start cutting the size and scope of government even further...

Here are the most recent Budgets and Debt tracking:

Biden’s 2025 Budget is $7.30T with a $1.8T deficit______TOTAL BIDEN add $6.9T = $35T Debt
Biden’s 2024 Budget was $7.30T with a $2.0T deficit
Biden's 2023 Budget was $6.13T with a $1.7T deficit
Biden's 2022 Budget was $6.27T with a $1.4T deficit
Trump's 2021 Budget was $6.82T with a $2.8T deficit___ TOTAL TRUMP add $7.6T = $27T Debt
Trump's 2020 Budget was $6.55T with a $3.1T deficit
Trump's 2019 Budget was $4.40T with a $0.9T deficit
Trump's 2018 Budget was $4.10T with a $0.8T deficit_____Obama Debt at end of Term $20T

I'd like for him to get us out of the Middle East and Africa. And try to reduce tensions between us and Russia/China too.

Based on his neocon cabinet picks, that doesn’t appear to be in the cards.

Why bother with elections when nothing ever changes?

Trump supporters are already falling all over themselves to justify his warmongering cabinet picks and his vow to stomp out free speech on college campuses, and he's not even president yet. These people will put zero pressure on Trump to end wars and fight authoritarianism. They'll bootlick and make excuses throughout the entire four years, just like they did last time. They're not anti-establishment populists, they just want to feel like anti-establishment populists. Trump supporters are George W Bush supporters LARPing as Ron Paul supporters. -Caitlin Johnstone
