Tariffs on foreign imported products make foreign products more expensive than domestically produced products, which helps american producers. Walmart could fix their mess by selling american made products instead of Chinese junk.

How are the supposed to compete with child labor and regulatory environments in China that are made to help corporations succeed, not hinder them. You won't find people talking about greedy corporations in China because the people understand that these corporations are their bread and butter. Spoiled, envious, indoctrinated Democrats in the US lack this understanding.

The way to make US corporations more competitive is to either lower regulations, pay and benefits OR to add a tariff to imported goods to level the playing field. The Democrats answer is the RAISE US corporate taxes because they are making too much money. You can't make this kind of stuff up. It is almost as if the Democrats don't want US corporations to succeed and want them to leave the country.
