They recently added Mustard (the yellow animal). That was probably the real reason for the increase. Mustard doesn’t work for free.

Here is the part where I’m going to be insulted and told to start following American bears.

maybe youll have to consolidate to the Siamese Twin version, WHO knows??

I feel for you.

^^^Lefties signing up to shill for corporate greed. I love it!
Hyper-partisan diversions aside, the Trump sales tax is kicking in:

Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, said Trump’s tariffs are “too high” and it will raise prices on some items as Trump’s global trade war increases the company’s costs.
“We will do our best to keep our prices as low as possible. But given the magnitude of the tariffs, even at the reduced levels announced this week, we aren’t able to absorb all the pressure given the reality of narrow retail margins,” Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said Thursday on an earnings call.
“The higher tariffs will result in higher prices,” he said...
The price hikes will begin later this month.
“I’m concerned that consumer is going to start seeing higher prices. You’ll begin to see that, likely towards the tail end of this month, and then certainly much more in June,” Walmart finance chief John David Rainey said...

:oops-28:. I'm sure Democrats have an pretzel shaped idiotic explanation.

Perhaps inflation increases only originate from a bat at a wet market across the street from the Wuhan Corona-virus Institute.

Price hikes and shortages are already in the offing.

Nothing that actually happened yet. So, there's that. Truckers haven't lost jobs, supplies are coming in. the tariffs are on pause, the actual 145% one never made it out the door but one day. So, again, TDS is the only answer.

If you veneration of Trump requires you to fantasize that Walmart is lying to you, you can, of course.

Meanwhile, the Trump tax is coming:

Trade war price increases are coming for American shoppers.
Retail goliath Walmart on Thursday said it plans to raise prices this month and early this summer, when tariff-affected merchandise hits its store shelves. Some prices already have increased.
“The magnitude and speed at which these prices are coming to us is somewhat unprecedented in history,” Walmart Chief Financial Officer John David Rainey said in an interview.

Denialism isn't going to work for Trump worshipers. The empirical reality is impervious to their dogma.

Capitalism thrives on profit, and the degenerate's attack on profit is no way to run an economy.

Food is 99% domestic. Food prices will not be affected in the least by tariffs unless you're a soften-handed, man-bun wearing pinko commie liberal socialist that can't live without their Starbucks and avocado toast.

So quit scaremongering schmidlap , you cocksucking little *****. You've lost. Again. Trump's approval is up 10 points and you're still a fuckchop. The world is as it should be.

Yet American farmers ship tons of food overseas. And these tariffs are killing them.

And they will never vote Republican again after this Trump tariff nightmare.
