Actually, I think Leftists would prefer to raise taxes on US corporations, instead of foreign ones, thus shipping jobs overseas.

Trump is actually toying with the idea of increasing taxes on the rich.

Here's something to think about.

When an oligarch is pointing at something to "save money", you should look at what they are NOT talking about.

Like the $1.6 trillion of annual spending on tax expenditures which overwhelmingly benefit oligarchs.

This is a dead giveaway their have no intention of cutting spending, except on the backs of the middle class and the poor.

Well sure, you can find expensive socks if you look for them. I typed in socks made in USA and see unisex for $2.75/pr. Great rated ladies' socks for $7.

For your tastes, you should consider some cheaper, more stylish ones...

That's what we're being told, yes. Like I said, as of now I just don't believe that that's the reason. But time will tell how it all goes.

I pay for tariffs everyday. I pay a freight fowarder to bring me stuff we imported and paid a manufacture $13 for. Then the freight forwarder charges me $1 to move it and $1 for the tariff. I pay that. Not some foreign country.
