The Trans Africa railway was never completed this good idea for the progress of Africa if it can be completed.

This would address one of Africa's biggest geographical problems: Transportation to the interior. Great idea if the countries involved don't screw it up.

Africa is the richest continent in the world in terms of natural resources. So why is Africa the armpit of the world? But yes, a trans-continental railroad would be a fine thing for Africa, right up until Boko Haram blows it up.
