Today, we watched a short documentary about G.K. Chesterton. Fascinating character!

Nice countryside. Nice people (in my experience.) Not-so-good food. Not-so-great weather.

Oh, and when I was there, at the pubs I remember they always ask you: "Bitter or lager?" (That was a long time ago, I don't know if it's still like that.)

I also thought it was funny how some people speak. As an American, it was hard for me to understand some people who spoke really fast with a really heavy folksy accent. It sounded like a squawking parrot to me. :p
