Natural born citizens cannot have their citizenship revoked against their will, but a naturalized citizen can under certain conditions.
If this is the case with this doctor, then take her citizenship away, and send out a message that this is not only illegal but very very serious.

A Chicago doctor is accused of illegally helping immigrants bypass US citizenship tests

CHICAGO (Reuters) - A Chicago doctor and a member of her staff have been charged with falsifying medical documents to help applicants bypass U.S. citizenship tests, prosecutors said on Friday.

Dr. Jasminka Kostic, 59, and Nikki Pozdol, 47, who works in the billing department at Kostic's office, were each charged with one count of knowingly making false statements in a document submitted to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois said.

According to the indictment, Kostic, who maintains a practice on Chicago's North Side, and Pozdol improperly diagnosed citizenship applicants as physically or mentally impaired to the point where they were unable to demonstrate knowledge of U.S. history and the English language. That diagnosis allowed applicants to seek a waiver for parts of the citizenship test.

Kostic, who also was charged with one count of attempted unlawful procurement of citizenship or naturalization, did not respond to a call seeking comment. An attorney was not listed on the indictment.

The charges come amid a fierce debate over immigration as part of the U.S. presidential election, highlighted by Republican frontrunner Donald Trump's campaign promise to build a wall along the U.S. southern border and make Mexico pay for it.

The charges are punishable by a maximum of 10 years in prison, prosecutors said. An arraignment date in federal court in Chicago has not been scheduled.

I wonder how much she charged for that diagnosis? I've helped people study for the citizenship tests and they're not that hard, but it does require some working knowledge of English, the official language in this country.

America doesn't have an "official language". .....

You're right. I almost wrote "primary language" instead. However, it is difficult to fully partake in this democracy without some English, Sunni Man.

So, what happens with the individuals that she "helped"?

You would be surprised how much of this goes on in this nation. I know a lawyer that was bringing in Nurses on the H1B visa system and then getting them married off to ignorant Americans that would pay for his Lawyer office to take care of their spouse marriage application...

Fraud is a big part of our immigration system and many do not know how bad it really is!

True, but wishing it would and the reality of it are two different things...

I believe all Immigration applications should be scrutinize and every lawyer, and doctor involved should be investigated, but in the end the agent can be bought, just the reality of this sad pathetic world.

True, but knowledge of the English language is required.

Our customary language is English. Check our Founding documents.
Customary is far different than being the official legal language.

That's why you have to "press 1 for english", even in dealing with government agencies. .....

That's funny! I have never had to "press 1 for English" at any time in my life!
