Syrian Army unearths important tunnel used by ISIS in Deir Ezzor

"ISIS would use this tunnel to launch their assault behind the Syrian Arab Army’s front-lines and wreck havoc around the Industrial District before the origin of the attack could be addressed by the government forces.

The Syrian Armed Forces have now destroyed this tunnel, but this is not the last they will see of ISIS and their tunnels because the aforementioned terrorist group has a large network of them around the city."

ISIS reverses all rebel gains and more in northern Aleppo: Al-Rai recaptured

This may be the end of this "opposition" presence. Actually, big words of support seem to be sufficient to Erdobama.

Civilians injured as rebels fire rockets into Syria’s Homs

"Islamist militants in Homs’ southern countryside fired, today, at least 5 homegrown rockets at the city’s pro-government districts of Arman and Karm al-Louz, injuring 3 civilians and causing substantial damage.

The attack came as a retaliation for the days-long airstrikes conducted by Syrian and Russian fighter jets on the rebel-held towns of Talbiseh, al-Dar al-Kabira, Al-Saan and Al-Hola."

Report: Turkey requested to meet with the Syrian government to ease the tensions between the two countries

Erdogan may prefer Assad over Kurdish PYD state.

"According to the Algerian online publication “El-Watan“, the Turkish and Syrian governments have been secretly conducted meetings in Algiers to discuss the federalist government the Kurdish PYD regime was promoting inside northern Syria.
Citing a diplomatic source, El-Watan alleged that Turkey requested to meet with the Syrian government to ease the tensions between the two countries; these meetings have been reportedly facilitated by the Algerian government."

The Assad Files

The commission’s work recently culminated in a four-hundred-page legal brief that links the systematic torture and murder of tens of thousands of Syrians to a written policy approved by President Bashar al-Assad, coördinated among his security-intelligence agencies, and implemented by regime operatives, who reported the successes of their campaign to their superiors in Damascus. The brief narrates daily events in Syria through the eyes of Assad and his associates and their victims, and offers a record of state-sponsored torture that is almost unimaginable in its scope and its cruelty. Such acts had been reported by survivors in Syria before, but they had never been traced back to signed orders. Stephen Rapp, who led prosecution teams at the international criminal tribunals in Rwanda and Sierra Leone before serving for six years as the United States Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes Issues, told me that the CIJA’s documentation “is much richer than anything I’ve seen, and anything I’ve prosecuted in this area.”

News Of The Revolution In Syria

Not long ago, the group published photos showing caged people being put on roofs and driven though the region. The group tries to keep the Syrian airforce away from their crumbling territories with this cages. Not only does the group´s territory shrink, but also was its leader killed by a Syrian air strike months ago and his successor was assassinated by Al-Nusra which is ally and enemy to Jaish al-Islam - depending on the territory they fight on - days ago.

Now, there is ISIS in the region and Jaish al-Islam fighters were granted free passage and aircover by the Syrian government against ISIS. According to unconfirmed reports, ISIS raided a cement factory some 50 km away from Damascus and now holds 250 of the workers as hostages but it is unclear if this is true and if it has something to do with the government´s and the group´s agreement.

The agreement might sound suspect but ISIS is an enemy to both. The article also includes a video showing the group´s leadership being in agreement with this deal:
