Why shouldn't they? They stood by and sparsely condemned the practice. His point was that Democrats should apologize for the actions of what he admits are a "small cadre" of "far left" people. Yeah...it was silly.

You're the type that thinks everything's fine in America until someone attempts a change. Then you feign outrage.Ummm no. Was pointing out how the right wing makes everything a battle for the nation's soul and how silly it is that so many people buy into the outrage.
I'm already gay, so what's your point? Did you think that quip was funny, or effective?Did Bud Light make you gay?
That's funny, I see democraps as a coalition of many "extremely disgruntled, angry people" that act in complete concert as a homogenous group. I see the rest of the people as "not extremely disgruntled people" who act in a heterogenous way. What's more noticeable is how you associate race with this and demonstrate your hatred and bigotry toward white people. Could it be that your racial hatred and bigotry causes white people to avoid you and your only conclusion is that THEY are racist because they avoid you? I think so.What it does reflect is that the right wing is much better at consolidating outrage. The problem democrats have is that they are not a homogenous group but rather a coalition of many different groups. The right wing is simply angry white people; or people who are angry and wish they were white.
Apple pie is racist and only eaten by Nazis?
Oh, you mean like Democrats do? Go put on a red MAGA cap and walk into a crowd of 'em.What Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle ad says about a divided America
As debate surrounding the advertisement intensified, the conversation became less about denim and more about identity. What began as a marketing stunt spiraled into a mirror reflecting deeper societal fractures, where a pair of jeans could symbolize political allegiance, cultural values and morality.
Selepak said the brand politicization carries broader implications for how we engage with one another.
“The biggest negative to it is the sort of politicization of brands and products,” he said. “We’re kind of getting into this point where we’re saying, ‘I don’t want to be around people who view a topic differently … We can’t interact.’”

That was funny..nice.

The Dems are past just dropping the PC/Identity Politics shit and re-focusing on the Middle Class. It should APOLOGIZE for the all horseshit it has unloaded on the American public over the last couple of decades, ADMIT that it has gone too far, and THEN re-focus on the Middle Class.
How in the world is that political, you might ask? It's because that otherwise benign commericial that she's in sparked YET ANOTHER racially-charged, politically-charged firestorm that originated on the Left. I wish the entire Left would read this piece in Politico today: The Sydney Sweeney Saga Shows Why Republicans Keep Winning -- written by a Democrat and Harris campaign worker.
For the blissfully uninitiated: The actress Sydney Sweeney was the face of a new ad for American Eagle where they say she has “good jeans.” This is obviously a play on “good genes,” which to most people was a reference to how she is good looking, and to a small cadre of extremely online lefty posters and SEO-chasing online media outlets was a reference to Nazism and eugenics. The right made a whole thing about it, accusing Democrats of being out-of-touch scolds, and somehow Democrats have found themselves on the defensive. The episode caused confusion, consternation and a wave of Democrats performatively affirming that yes, they too think Sydney Sweeney is beautiful. Welcome to 2025.
You might be wondering why anybody cares about this. But here’s the thing: The fact that this moment became a thing at all — that a stupid pun could metastasize into a full-blown political moment — says something real about the media ecosystem we’re all trapped in. And it says even more about why Democrats keep losing the culture war, and with it, the narrative war that inevitably shapes who wins elections.
Does the middle class care about this story? Does the working class care about this story? I doubt it.

My guess is social media blew up over this nothingburger and so it became a fabricated controversy. Which is why I am only vaguely aware of it. I don't use social media, never have. This pile of shit explains why.and to a small cadre of extremely online lefty posters and SEO-chasing online media outlets was a reference to Nazism and eugenics. HahahI see...
Has anyone on the far right spoken against the SECDEF's feelings that women shouldn't vote yet?

This issue is yet another made up story designed to divide Americans, for the benefit the ruling elite. Old story but many never understand.

The left is focused sharply on the Middle Class, or at least were during the last election cycle.
The cackling vodka connoisseur that led the ticket last fall pointed out how "middle class" she was every chance she got.
