Fair point. If the antisemitism I see today, not against overt criminals, but otherwise innocent and harmless people were directed against blacks, muslims, women, latinos or any other minority or group, it would be a problem for the Left of epic proportions. The part I never get is how despite all that, so many Jews still reportedly vote democrat.

There was a great article in the NYP today about how the Jews keep voting for Dems, no matter how antisemitic they’ve become. I’ll get it for you.

Something very, very wrong with the Left that much like Iran, they would sooner lose billions in federal funding and risk a whole lot more rather than to NOT attack the Jews, meantime, was a single Jewish student even being an issue for them?

Yeah, maybe, but it is a quiet, insidious prejudice for the most part usually, quietly reflected in hiring practices and DEI programs.

You don't hear us whimpering about it (incessantly).

I try to point it out wherever possible. Earth has finite room and resources, and a whole lotta white people gotta go first (especially, conservative, god-fearing whites), if there is to be enough for all of them.

Yeah, I've kinda noticed that tendency. The Jews are to blame for a lot, but no more than any other ethnic or racial group. I suppose the worst valid criticism of Jews is that despite massive animus against them over the past 2000 years, they have hung on and in some ways prospered where many other people would have been gone a long time ago.

Still, I am loathe to recall the last time something heinous happened in the country and it came down to the person being a Jew, or worse, did something really bad against some other group for NOT being Jewish.

Was the kid that started the Palisades fire a Jew? Nope.

Was the captain of that ship that crashed into and destroyed that bridge near Baltimore Jewish? Nope.

Were any of the subway attackers who murdered women, pushed people onto train tracks, or tried to assassinate Trump Jewish? I do not think so.

Are Jews flooding into and taking over and destroying Europe? Nope.

Are the Jews threatening to take over Taiwan and the S China Sea? Nope.

Are the Jews cutting off 20% of the world's oil supply? Nope.

Are the Jews responsible for the war in Gaza or Lebanon? Not really. Hamas started the war in Gaza and Hezbollah started the war in Lebanon. Only thing they can fault the Israelis for is their fighting back and finishing the job, and succeeding and winning.

I just wonder, if folks who invaded Israel could go back to 10/6, might they reconsider now their decision to attack and slaughter 1600 innocent people there still? Was it worth it? Doesn't appear so.

I agree with everything you said except the very last. The savages who invaded Israel and slaughtered more than a thousand innocent Jews - babies and toddlers among them - got exactly what they wanted: a manipulated campaign of antisemitic lies to create a wellspring of Jew-hate worldwide.

A good reason to just ignore him and don't let him get a rise out of you. I think a lot of people are just jumping on the "Bash Jews" bandwagon these day out of boredom, to forget their problems, and to fit in because everyone else around them is doing it.

I think just a fraction of these people, 25%?, actually really hate Jews! I mean, I've hated a lot of people and groups, no less the government for all that it gets wrong, does badly, and always at my expense, but it takes bad head wiring to translate a dislike for a subject, opinion, or person into actually going out and harming people you don't even know.

I'll never forget an old school chum, a black guy--- last time we talked by phone (late 80s, early 90s), he was ranting about Ronald Reagan because he fired a bunch of striking air traffic controllers. I never got the chance to ask him why it mattered to him so much--- was his best friend a controller? Was his wife stranded at the airport about to have a baby and missed her flight?

He and I were the same age. He died 20 years ago! I have a feeling his rage and anger drove him into an early grave, if not from the aggravation, from doing something really stupid.
