Swalwell Credibly Accused of Assaulting an Intoxicated Woman - Twice!

Well who wouldn’t be convinced?

Eric Swalwell is the sleaziest sack of shit I've seen this side of Joe Biden or Adam Schiff.
Anybody who believes one word of this sociopath is dumb beyond words.

Not a single one of you are on any of the Gonzales threads which was 100% an affair, a possibility of murder, and definitely a coverup. Plus the dude is still sleeping with staff.

Unlike Republicans who put a serial sexual assaulter into the President's office, the end of Eric Swalwell may be near.

House Democrats call on Eric Swalwell to drop out of California governor race amid sexual assault allegations

House Democratic leadership on Friday called on Rep. Eric Swalwell to drop out of the race for California governor in the wake of allegations that he sexually assaulted a former staffer. Swalwell denied the allegations and called them "false."

In a statement Friday night, House Democratic leaders called for a "swift investigation" into the allegations and for Swalwell to immediately end his campaign. They called for accountability, but stopped short of urging him to resign from Congress.

"This is unacceptable of anyone — certainly not an elected official — and must be taken seriously," House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York, Whip Katherine Clark of Massachusetts and Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar of California said. "All perpetrators of sexual assault and harassment must be held accountable."

Swalwell an Trump both need to go. So now let's watch the same people who claim the allegations against Trump ae fake news made up by the media an deep state to smear him, declare with certainty how the same type of allegations against Swalwell are definitive proof of his misbehavior.

Prominent Democrats are withdrawing their support for Eric Swalwell's gubernatorial campaign in California following allegations of sexual assault against him. This has led to calls for him to exit the race to ensure accountability and avoid distractions during the election.

Yep. Unlike Republicans who nominate a sexual predator as a president.

I'm not sure that is true.

He said that he never did anything "inappropriate," so it depends on what he considers inappropriate.

If he considered it appropriate to have sex with subordinates while drinking with them, it isn't that big a leap to having sex with them when they were too drunk to consent. He may be telling himself that the women had consented by having sex at parties with him before and then partying with him again.

Do you consider it ethical to have sex with a subordinate? Prior to Bill Clinton, that was the worst sin in the Democrat's book.
That's exactly what I'm saying.

That's of course a Fake charge.

OTOH< the D's still celebrate Al Franken, who was caught on video sexually assaulting some broad on a plane and never did any time for it. Franken waited until he was over international waters before his attack.

Liberal Media Wants You To Know: They Knew Eric Swalwell Was A Sex Pest, And Didn’t Report A Thing

"Absolutely wild how the Democratic Party covered up for Eric Swalwell for literally decades because it suited their political purposes."
12 Apr 2026 ~~ By Virginia Kruta

A wave of sexual assault accusations against Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) hit on Friday. In the time since, a number in the media and political spheres have claimed that they knew all along that the California congressman was at best, a pest — and at worst, involved in behavior that might be criminal — but never went public with that information.

Local reporter Steven Tavares, author of the East Bay Insider, said that he had been covering Swalwell for more than a decade — beginning when he was just a member of the Dublin City Council — and that he and others had been well aware of Swalwell’s proclivities for years.

“I’ve covered Eric Swalwell since he was a member of the Dublin City Council. Shortly after being elected to Congress in 2013, his behavior towards women was known by all levels of our local government and the Alameda County Democratic Party,” Tavares posted via X, adding, “Don’t get it twisted. Nobody has been more critical of Swalwell over the years. I tried repeatedly to get the stories out. I can’t force women to speak out, and when they chose not to, I didn’t push. I also knew that Swalwell was known to threaten litigation.”
But as critics quickly pointed out, knowing information like that and not reporting it could put young women at risk. Radio host Dana Loesch summed it up: “And at no time did you think ‘Gee, maybe I should report about this?'”

This Swalwell situation was … shall we say widely rumored and it’s interesting that the gossip doesn’t seem to have made its way to all the big shots out west,” Bloomberg columnist Matthew Yglesias said.
Progressive activist and commentator Nomiki Konst was also among those claiming to have known years earlier that Swalwell’s behavior was problematic.

“Absolutely wild how the Democratic Party covered up for Eric Swalwell for literally decades because it suited their political purposes,” Outkick’s Ian Miller observed.
Since the first accusations were reported on Friday, Swalwell has lost numerous endorsements and has faced calls to drop out of the California gubernatorial race — and some to resign from Congress as well. A letter from the congressman’s senior staff both in his congressional office and his gubernatorial campaign office announced that they were all leaving his employ and advised others to withdraw their support.
Swalwell has denied all of the accusations, calling them “flat false.”

Commentary:
In keeping with Democrats and their "Fellow Travelers", the machine decided Eric Swalwell was no longer useful or was an obstacle, so they released the dirt they’ve had on him for years. To the Party, no way they would release the dude’s bad behavior unless the Party had something to gain in return. The whole Dem party leadership machine is despicable and should be removed from power.
Note: ALL of those fake “journ0lists” would have reported on a Republican in a New York minute. Hypocrites all. But Leftists don’t have a problem being called that word.
They proved it with Grover Cleveland, Tom Dodd, Gary Hart, JFK, Bill Clinton, even Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Hussein Soetoro.

The double standard is staggering.
But I've seen it since Watergate days.
It's real. And it's really, really dark and awful.
And very dangerous. A country constantly being fed lies and disinformation doesn't make proper decisions.

I was just a kid when Watergate broke, nine or ten.

I had no idea what all the fuss was about, except that the recently elected president was caught up in a scandal due to some wrongdoing of his.

The more i read into it as a teenager, the more I realized that Nixon's skulduggery was merely a continuation of Kennedy's and Johnson's. The press ran with it and hounded Nixon until he resigned.

I was NOT a fan of Nixon's. Too liberal for me (and I was in college!).
But Watergate stunk to me, just likes Biden's "election" years later. Too many weird things. Too many compromised "reporters" (Bob Woodward worked for Naval Intelligence and suddenly was a reporter to for the Washington Post?)
As the years have gone by, I'm more convinced that Nixon was one of the first victims of the Deep State.
