Israeli troops withdrew from Gaza on Tuesday.



Even before the cease-fire was reportedly breached, negotiations being conducted in Cairo for a permanent truce seemed to have stalled, and Hamas had threatened to resume violence. The militant group is reportedly demanding the reopening of land and sea access to Gaza, which has been closed off for eight years by Israel and intermittently by Egypt. Israel is said to be seeking the internationally supervised demilitarization of Hamas.

Reuters also reported tonight that Hamas claims to have executed an unnamed number of Palestinians suspected of working on behalf of Israel in the past month.

In all seriousness though, if you do want a long lasting peace, then one side needs a solid decisive victory.

Won't happen, as long as they skirmish for a few days, then have a ceasefire. That pattern doesn't do anything other than sustaining the status quo.

Hamass et al enjoy protection of the "progressive international community", sustaining that poor ' robbed palistanian image is essential for do-gooding, otherwise all that community will be left with very much uncomfortable Africa and ISIS, and all that, where, besides blah-blah, decisions will, probably, have to be made, and that community hates decisions - it prefers to criticize others for them, of course.

Hamas is proving who and what they are, and that Israelis have been right all along. Unfortunately, it's the Palestinian people that will be continue to be sacrificed, not that Hamas cares one iota.

Why would Israel be lifting the blockade when Hamas has been shooting thousands of rockets at Israel, and using all the concrete the Palestinians get to build hundreds of miles of terror tunnels into Israel. If anything Israel should now double down in its force and kill every Hamas Islamist scum until the land has been cleansed from this evil cancer.

I read a post earlier today and the poster said it's time for the UN to start supervising Gaza. I agree because it's the only logical way to keep the people safe from violence. The UN could send in a large force to administer the territory. They could lead the civilians to a safe location and then root out the animals.

Israel left Gaza in 2005 and the Rockets actually increased . I recent posted a link to those Scumbags ( Hamas) Charter . It has nothing to do with " occupation" Their official Stance is while they will " accept". the " 67 Borders" they will Never accept Israel and their goal is to destroy it. I have posted this link also many times . Let Israel kill all of those Uncivilized Savages and let them have their " Virgins".
