A ceasefire was in effect and Hamas started firing with 4 hours left. And you justify this cowardly, insane act. That happens every time and proves Hamas can never be trusted. I know that I and a lot of other people are going to be highly disappointed if the IDF doesn't hunt down every Hamas member and either kill them or put them in prison for an eternity. Personally, I would summarily execute every one of the evil sonsabitches.

Hamas is proving who and what they are, and that Israelis have been right all along. Unfortunately, it's the Palestinian people that will be continue to be sacrificed, not that Hamas cares one iota.

Israel will do what it has to do to protect its people from the rockets and terrorism.

I read a post earlier today and the poster said it's time for the UN to start supervising Gaza. I agree because it's the only logical way to keep the people safe from violence. The UN could send in a large force to administer the territory. They could lead the civilians to a safe location and then root out the animals.

Have a question; Does anybody here who is sane and has an I.Q. Over 10 REALLY trust the U.N ????? Weren't they on the border of Egypt and Israel before they " obeyed" Egypt and left knowing what was going to happen in 1967?

For those who insist that Israel initiated that War, please tell us why Egypt sent the U.N " peacekeepers". away and why they obeyed.

Peach, I think Hamas knows it's only chance is to draw Israel in, make them fight, make sure they kill civilians especially children, then beat Israel so bad in the PR battle on the world stage that Israel essentially is not only forced to withdraw, but Hama and Palestine win back some of what they've lost in the past.
Because of this, Hamas is likely to continue to be the agitator that always starts the fight.

I don't think that the world's media is falling for the hamas LIES anymore, as shown by this latest round of fighting. The media reported against hamas from the very start making claims of terrorist attacks and murders. Then we had the reports from journalists themselves who said they had been threatened by hamas because they told the truth. Now the reports of executions carried out on those Palestinians that spoke out against hamas. How will hamas hope to generate enough ANTI SEMITIC HATRED while these are still fresh in peoples minds. We need the UN to come down hard on hamas and in such a way that the Palestinians are shocked to their core, enough to have them scurrying for cover and the negotiation table.
