Supreme Court limits key provision of the landmark Voting Rights Act

The SC should just rule against gerrymandering. Democrats claimed that without gerrymandering, minority votes have no weight even though the government can’t tell people where they can or cannot live. Second, people like to be among their kind or those sharing the same values. The Democrats’ argument is no different than separating the country. How can Democrats say they are for diversity but at the same time believe blacks should have a representative representing a district with nearly all blacks.
How do you rule against something that is a state responsibility under the Constitution?

The facts condemn your side. You are criticizing what the GOP would have done in the same situation.

You simply don't think.
The United States of America was/is finally stretched to realizing a decline is slowly in progress. It is most likely with a Seven Trillion Dollar yearly federal budget, that around 25% or more of it is corrupted and stolen. It has affected much of our nation's productivity.

The patient is stirring, but I don't think it is cognizant yet, it may have to be put back to sleep.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday sharply weakened a key provision of the landmark Voting Rights Act, a ruling that limits the consideration of race in drawing voting maps and could usher in Republican gains in the House.

The decision is expected to touch off a scramble by Republicans to redraw majority-minority districts, especially in the South. New districts could shift the balance of power in Congress by imperiling the reelection prospects of some Black Democrats, possibly as soon as November’s midterms in some instances. Minority representatives in state legislatures and local offices could also be redistricted out.

About darn time.....The odd districts in red states that were gerrymandered due to fed "racial" edicts can now be brought back in line.

I wonder how many seats this will cost the dems?
I heard 20!

Whining and complaining is not dealing with anything, it is the opposite. Grow the **** up.
Hmm, when black folks speak out against racism in this country it's whining and complaining, but when ravist like yourself bitched and moaned when a black man was elected it was called taking out country back. I have been grown the fk up for many years. Now run and tell that.
