We gave them the wheat they asked for famine. America removed the sanctions. So they got what they wanted so Al Burhan is right to say they are winners here but the accord helps us as well. We both benefit in future. Khartoum is where the Arab League met after the 1967 war to say three nos to Israel. No recognize no peace no negotian. now look how things change!
The new regime there has buried sharia and given women a place in goverment. Happy for that and happy we are able to reconcile. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PDPWqUXCqA

The normalization still has to be ratified by Parliament when Sudan forms one. Egypt and Saudi and UAE are for it while Sudanese factions such as Baathists and those who are for Iran oppose it. Maybe it dont matter how the Parliament votes? If the generals want it and it seems they do then normalization will be final. hope i have explained it well.

I wanted to say that al Buhran is right that Sudan is the winner in this deal for economic benefit we win in security because Iran and Hizballah have lost Sudan as an ally.

The U.S. has bribed the Sudanese government with money and weapons to play nice with the terrorist state of Israel.
But the people of Sudan still intensely dislike Israel and will continue to live by Sharia law. ...

We sent Sudan tons of wheat for famine relief. US removed the sanctions after Sudan paid victims of terrorism. Sudan is no longer under sharia. Not since al Bashir was deposed.

It is pretty much a done deal

According to the Sudanese their removal from the state terror list was unrelated to normalization with Israel.

Years ago Sudan went too strict with Islam.. The Saudis counseled them to ease up.

Saudi Arabia has been sending Sudan rice for decades.
