The military seized control of government and placed prime Minister Hamdok under house arrest. Generals say they did this to prevent civil war not start one. There were public protests in which people were killed or wounded by the soldiers. Now Hamdok has been reinstated as PM. America Russia and China have different interests in Sudan.
