I'm so sick with the flu and posting on the mighty Q so I hope this makes sense.
I'll call it "how I ended up in summer school".
There was a study out when I was in high school that purported the theory that you didn't need to study for an exam.
All you had to do was to record your notes (yes we used to have tape recorders) and with a bit of music in between just play the recording over and over a week before your exam while you were sleeping.
Well, epic fail. I got into the exam and all I could hear in my head was the Four Tops "Bernadette". That was the song I taped with my history notes.
I failed the exam. And I have hated that song ever since.
I lie. I still love it. I'd recommend the Strawbs Hero and Heroine or Knights in White Satin by the Moody Blues.
