Students flocking to universities in the South, rejecting coastal elitism and anti-Semitism

This is great news! Besides Southern universities being generally better by nearly every measure, this migration is bringing the future of business, tech, and energy to the South.

Especially for minority students. The South has integrated much, much better than the northeast and the west coast, where minorities are still viewed largely as "the help", or as tokens to display for propaganda purposes.

I noticed this when I moved from the west coast to Texas. People of different races are more integrated and get along much better here, versus the west coast, where neighborhoods are segregated and races don't mix much, unless they're forced to do so. It's much more organic here.

The South is rising, while the Northeast is dying.

“A recent Wall Street Journal report found that the number of Northerners going to Southern public schools has risen 84% over the past two decades, and jumped 30% from 2018 to 2022.”

“Meanwhile, surveys of recent data from the Common Application…shows that applications to colleges in the South are up 50% since 2019. That compares to a rise of less than 30% for schools located in New England and the Mid-Atlantic.”
