student escorted out of class for not saying the pledge

Do you think it was NECCESARY to add "UNDER GOD" to the POA?

No it was not necessary, but it was done. And what does it truly mean? Not a thing if you don't believe in a God.

How did that old song go? I swear there ain't no heaven and I pray there ain't no hell.

NO!!! Because I don't believe in "GOD" it's an INSULT to me to put YOUR God into MY pledge to my COUNTRY! I DON'T pledge to YOUR God but I WILL pledge to my COUNTRY! Don't you get it?

I DO believe in a higher power but I simply DO NOT say: "under GOD" when I pledge.

Frankly I think itan insult to the concept of a the GOD I believe in to think that it would choose sides in the petty squabbles we humans have.

Classic hack response- just ignore the facts, including your own words.

It started with

Also, if a child, no doubt indoctrinated by his/her america-hating scumbag family, is uncomfortable about this country and saying the pledge, there are a lot of other countries they may feel more comfortable being in, like Iran or Syria..

Then the violence entered the thread when it was suggested that we shoot people who oppose putting crosses on a Jew's grave.

Then it was suggested the kid be beaten and sent off-shores to be waterboarded and held indefinitely as a terrorist.

Allegiance to one's country should not be forced, but it should be expected. Anyone not pledging allegiance should be bitchslapped and sent to Git'mo. IMO

Then you said that not being a brainwashed moron and actually actually having principles means you hate America and need to leave

It's called respect for the flag, respect for the country providing this free education, and respect for the teacher who may be offended by some asshole who is too lazy to stand.

We say it before public meetings and we stand for the national anthem.

If you hate this country and have no respect for those of us who don't - move.

Perhaps you were hoping nobody remembered what you'd said? Or did you forget?

Channel never said that she wanted anyone forced into moving, or even forced to say the pledge. Simply that if they couldn't show some respect they should move.

Having children stand up and recite a "pledge of allegiance" every school day is ridiculous to begin with. People can decide for themselves where their loyalties lie when they're adults.

Coming from anti-american back-stabbing Sand N#gger like yourself, who would expect any less.

Should kids be forced to say the pledge each and every mourning? Damn right they should. Fuck the PC shit and fuck the liberal BS! The pledge of alliance is NOT a religious thing its an American thing. If your an American or a non-citizen resident of this country and you refuse to say the pledge of alliance, then I say the hell with you!
Sounds like something Hitler would say.
Why would you expect a citizen of another country to pledge allegiance to this country? They owe allegiance to their own countries.

Oh please, what rubbish! Not even a good red herring argument!

this was quite the anti-american, freedom hating rant. wouldn't expect anything else from you though.

Oh Please! A personal attack on an American Jihad who would love to piss on the American flag while wiping his ass with the constitution is more than just!

Can we really call America the land of the free if people are forced to pledge allegiance to it?

Freedom ain't Free! Nor is it ever absolute. It can't be, since one's practice of utlimate freedoms disallows another of practicing his utlimate freedom.

The ACLU got it ruled several years back that we could not force children to say or even learn the Pledge of Allegiance.

Just another reason I can't stand the ACLU.

Why do you want to force kids to say the pledge? Do you not like freedom?

How exactly do you intend to "force" them? Put a gun to their head? Beat them?

See, that kind of thinking is why you people have been pissing people off for the last 2000 years and everyone keeps trying to kill you.

Just sayin'.

Really :cuckoo:!!!

The biggest cripe from the antisemites is that Jews don't assimulate. Yet you take my post that refusing to pledge alliance to the flag is an utlimate sin for an American or anyone who accepts American citizenship.

Who nice try Goebbels!

Aren't the ones on this thread having a meltdown over this the very same posters that applauded schools and teachers for disallowing Obama to speak to school children via the school district's tv station?
No! I personally applauded Obama's speech and I hope he does it again with a message more along the lines of JFK, "As not what your country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your country!" Not an easy thing to do if you are used to disrespecting your country.

Does it matter? The child was too young to take an ideological stand, and most likely was coerced into it by the parents (which has been the case in most of these stories). But it seems the law is clear. Not pledging allegiance simply because one is too lazy or hungover is now a constitutional right. Thank the ACLU.

Will profanity in the classroom become "protected speech" in the near future? I'm sure there's lawyers working on it now as we speak.
As far as I know, it always has been a constitutional right. But if you want to give credit to the ACLU that is okay. Thank God for the ACLU.

It has never been a constitutional right dumb ass. Obscenity (or sexually illicit material), especially at SCHOOLS, is NEVER protected speech!

well, it sure didn't take long to make the ironic jew cry nazi... despite his little sand ****** speech.

go tell it to another jewish family freaking out about a dirty goyim polluting their bloodline, Barbara Streisand.

and, if you can scream sand ****** some more while crying about Scarlet A wearers reminding you how large your nose is, if you don't mind.

A right to an education has been deemed not a fundmental right. How about tossing the little communist into the streets!
