Two events have caught my attention recently that I don't know anyone else mentioning:

  1. A whistleblower has revealed that the Biden White House has been busy breaking the law again. Because legislated gun laws are not cutting it for the Biden Administration, apparently they have been doing a secret end-around the law trying to put the hammer to gun manufacturers and retailers anyway in their quest to "get guns." Apparently the Biden White House has weaponized the ATF and has been clandestinely working illegally in collusion with various anti-gun groups in direct violation of the law trying to put the screws to gun manufacturers and sellers in an attempt to put them out of business in their battle against gun rights. In one particular case, they went to Glock and tried to impose modifications to their pistols.
  2. In another affair, strange things are emerging with the autopsy of Thomas Crooks the assassin. It now appears he had 5 bullet wounds to the head from four shots, and a local cop was the first to hit him though the SS insist they were. Secret Service did not fire upon Crooks until 15 seconds after he fired off his 8 rounds. What is odd though is that in doing an autopsy of this very high profile case, while they tested him for drugs (street drugs), substances of abuse, they did NOT test him for any PRESCRIPTION meds he might have been taking for a mental disorder! Then of course, they cremated the body before anyone else could test it or get a look at it.

In WA, the court system that handles background checks for firearm purchases has been down for two weeks with no timeline for repair. The powers that be claim, "Oh well. Too bad." The state demands a 10 day waiting period. However gun buyers will have to start the process over even if it came on line today (still appears the fix is at least two weeks out) because the federal firearms form times out after 30 days. I think every gun owners group in the state should file a class action suit for all gun owners asking BILLIONS of $$$ for the violations of the 2nd amendment and illegally restricting gun owners' constitutional rights. WA legislators are famous for thumbing their noses at their constituents with no penalty. SMFH

And we already have the most draconian gun laws in the country and who the hell knows if the AWB will ever make it up to the SCOTUS.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the AG who partnered with Inslee to pass the bans is now the Governor, and simultaneously the whole background check system comes to a standstill.

Citizens of the state should inundate to court system with class action suits against all of these unconstitutional acts that the left does in this state. McCleary, AWB, etc. WA citizens should find a law firm that is willing to take these criminals on.

The cases are filed and everything is on hold awaiting a decision from the 9th Circuit in Duncan.

The 9th won't issue a ruling- the case was heard back in March. The ban was struck down in the District Court, but the 9th stayed the injunction and put the ban back into effect. This is a CA case on large capacity mags.

All the cases in WA and OR are on hold until the 9th Circuit rules on Duncan.

It's just stalling tactics and slow-walking the cases, and denying preliminary injunctions based on weak arguments from anti-gun groups while at the same time ignoring Bruen as if it's not clear enough to base a decision on...

Tip...of...the iceberg. Just as the Obama administration did the Biden administration has been doing end runs around congress and the law for years. A silent insurrection of corrupt government agencies doing the bidding of the puppet dictator.

Exactly! The only solution that I see is lawsuits against the governmental entities that are failing and investigating and fining the responsible person or persons into oblivion. We have to make penalties for these obvious attempts to deny people their constitutional rights.

Well it's the 9th Circuit that is responsible for the stalling. The other courts are just using it as the excuse because the District court judges support the bans.

I don't think there is anything that the citizens can do when the courts just refuse to do their jobs. The Legislatures have to step in, and they are the ones who passed the bans in the first place...

The plaintiffs have to file motions to move the cases to the next level if the courts won't act. The problem in WA is that the next level is...the 9th Circuit...

That is only in the one case. I am more concerned that the state isn't approving any new purchases with no end in sight and no sense of urgency to right this wrong. The AWB will be struck down without question but this feigned incompetence is just a smoke screen for denying rights.

Is it a long gun? If you're in Eastern WA you could drive over to Idaho and let them do the NICS check.

No restriction on bringing in long guns if you buy it from a licensed dealer and it's not on the banned list.

This is why we need Matt Gaetz. The DOJ should be investigating and prosecuting these unconstitutional acts.

A WA resident can't buy a gun in ID. I just had this conversation with the gun sales clerk at BiMart in N. ID. yesterday. Might be able to get it in MT.

Really? I thought that only applied to handguns.

WA sucks.

It's been a while since I bought a new gun (and it was before the bans), but there was, at the time (IIRC) ten days, where if the dealer did not get a response from the State he could go forward with the sale.

WA does their own NICS checks and they were slow-walking them back then too. It took almost ten days for the approval, and I already had a CCL.

Last time I bought one that was the case as well. The LEFT coast has had reciprocal laws that prevent their residents from purchasing from adjoining states gun dealers for some time though. You can still buy any firearm from a private seller but it has to be accomplished through a licensed dealer but I don't think you can even do that with the WSP outage though. Yeah, WA has become CA.

Handguns cannot be purchased out of State under Federal law, but rifles and shotguns are okay. The gun has to be legal in WA, that should be the only restriction. If you purchase from an out-of-state dealer in an over-the-counter transaction, it does not have to be shipped to a WA dealer, you can bring it in yourself.

See this:

I bought a .45 ACP from an old friend in CA a couple years ago. He took it to his local gun dealer in CA who shipped it to my local gun dealer in WA and I picked it up at the WA store after the required waiting period of ten days. No muss no fuss.

In light of another possible "insurection", I've heard that Biden will make an exception allowing DEMOCRATS to buy guns...
