Strait of Hormuz traffic 3.24.26.gif

Countries that have made agreements with Iran are allowed safe transit through the Strait of Hormuz. It is closed to countries at war with Iran or those outside of passage agreements.

There is a big crisis brewing for stranded ships. They are running out of supplies.

AI

Stranded Vessels and Dwindling Supplies: An estimated 3,200 ships, including around 450 oil and gas tankers, were reported trapped in the Gulf or waiting to enter as of March 18–19, 2026. Reports indicate that crew members on these ships are facing severe conditions, with rapidly dwindling food and water supplies, and rising concerns about fuel shortages.

Iran may force the U.S to destroy their energy plants and then set up a blockade of Iranian oil and they will be insolvent within two months which would drive the citizens to overthrow them,

China would be upset, so America could offer their own oil in exchange for the confiscated goods. A win/win.

Another Iranian Regime pumper pretending Iran didn't attack oil tankers and mine the Strait of Hormuz. Insurance companies cannot trust the word of a maniacal Regime, THAT is what stopped the ships and continues to keep the majority of the tankers stranded.

We sure don't want any repeat of Japan's attack on our Navy when they saw us as a threat to their oil supply. Hopefully somebody is keeping an eye on China's intentions.

Well, China openly threatened to deny the U.S rare earth. They can purchase oil from America while quickly learning that if they purchase from Iran it will be blockaded and they will be wasting their money.

You have to fight fire with fire in this situation. If Iran is blocking ships from leaving, well, the U.S navy can assist them in their objective but they will not discriminate, ALL will be held.
