There would be no nuisance Payoff, if Trump knew he was always a loyal husband to his new wife and not running around on Melania....

And if Stormy was a nuisance, why didn't he pay her off +/- 5 years earlier when she was doing magazine interviews telling all....? Oh, the mag interview wasn't released, till later, nevemind on that....

And course you're avoiding the obvious. They never had an affair in the first place. The only 'evidence' is a claim from a hooker.

Trump was having an affair with Karen McDougal, a playboy playmate at the same time period....who he also paid off $150,000....

Actually, I think the National Enquirer paid McDougal $150,000 for her exclusive on her longer affair with Trump. Then they killed it, did not run it....a Trump friend running the rag, David Pecker who killed it, was paid back the $150,000 for buying the exclusive interview and killing the article to silence her, by the Trump org.

I'm pretty certain there are dozens more of these payoffs by Trump over the years he was doing The Apprentice. He and Melania seem to have an open marriage?

Before that, Trump flaunted his cheating on wives...he thought it made him look wanted, hot... studley...manly! :rolleyes:

I think pretending like you are, that the Stormy between the sheets encounter didn't happen with trump is beyond naive...it's intentionally playing a fool imo....there is no way, under the sun, you could believe that Trump would never cheat on his wives... So, it boils down to intentionally lying for him.... And I hate to say that about you!

Anyway, you are right...paying people for their silence is not illegal, unless you are silencing a crime committed.

Trump is not in trouble for paying Stormy or McDougal off to silence them.

The fact is if he had affairs or not, if he entered into agreements with women to pay them for their silence or not does not matter.

Claiminh the cash as a campaign expense matters.

Even then it does not matter because the statute of limitations has passed.

(BTW, REMEMBER - Democrats in Congress created a committee whose sole purpose for existing was to pay for their sexual misconduct victims' silence. None of them were punished.)
