It starts talking about a Bill O'Reilly of FoxNews comment and, in effect, puts the record straight. Here's an excerpt:
Classically, liberalism stands for economic freedom, freedom of expression, civil rights of individuals, and limited government under the rule of law. In fact, in much of the world outside of the U.S., in Europe and Australia and even Canada, it still means that, and is considered “right wing.” But there is nothing “liberal” about the modern American left, or the Democrats’ leadership or base, and there hasn’t been for decades.
I am definitely going to change my definition of liberalism and make darned sure I don't get it mixed up with the Left's socialism and “progressive” outlook.

The left hijacks the word liberal to serve their agenda PJ Media
Indeed. I am liberal in the classical definition, but to say so thoroughly confuses the uninformed.
No you're a corporatist that favors the top 1% over the rest of the country...The concept of small govvernment without this reality died out about the time of the founders...Hell, even in that time kings ruled, so small government is nothing like you think. Just that the concept was for the people to have the power to control their own futures...
Never was such meant to give all the wealth to a new nobility or to defund our infrastructure!!!! People of course want infrastructure, police and clean air, water, a food, etc. As these things are simply common sense in any civilization. The core of the concept is the people are doing it!
