Steelers fans should be livid about not using or misusing DK Metcalf.

They are asking for it like Pirate fans are. Nutting owns the Pirates and despite stinking to high heaven, fans still make the team profitable for him, so why should he spend more.

Much the same with the Steelers. As bad as they are year after year after year with no end in sight never fixing a damned thing, the place sells out. Literally. So why should the Rooneys care? As bad as they are, the stadium sells out, the concessions sell like hot cakes, and I hear there are Steelers bars in every city around the world cheering, and the NFL merchandise sells off the shelves.
I hear you but It's not anything anyone I know asked for.

I know that if I lived there, I'd boycott both teams. If you are rewarding the team with ticket sales, mechanizing sales and everything else one could expect if playing like the RA Rams while actually playing like bums, then why should they spend more or try harder?

IMO, Tomlin should have been fired at least six years ago. They kept Big Ben at least five years past the point when he clearly never get better. While they hung onto a worn out Roethlisberger, who was never really good in his prime, many great QBs became available and they all went to other teams.

Didn't the Steelers also pass on Dan Marino, and he was right from their backyard! But they chose Kenny Pickett. :auiqs.jpg:

Well getting back to the season, Rodgers looked like a 42 year old guy with a broken wrist. Blaming his receivers not helpful. And they go to Baltimore who is desperate for a win, good luck.

He was respected in Seattle, but there must have been a reason that they got rid of him---maybe salary cap? He was always positively mentioned in the game reports when he was with the hawks.
Do you even watch the NFL?
You seem to have a very low IQ about the happenings surrounding the players.

QB Browsmer (Gophers) was one of the better players I saw in pre-season. At 6'2" maybe got labeled small?

I think he is on MINN right now. He could surprise. Bring a lot in a trade too someday.

39 years later. FFS dude.

Marino, 1983 Draft.
Pickett, 2022 Draft.

Swing and a MISS.

JFC, you were off by 39 years.

Anything but. I began following the team back in the Chuck Noll Era. I want to see them be a real threat in their league. I'm just not a fan of Mike Tomlin, never was. He is not a good coach, just an old one.

They say good guys finish last, well, I've never met a good boss who wasn't also an asshole, a tyrant, cracked the whip and instilled fear in people not meeting his standards. They say Mike is a player's coach, the player's love him.

Well, maybe they love him because he is too soft, too easy on them, easy to get along with.

I've managed teams of men and I know exactly the problem here. The team is both confused and uncertain about the (Steeler) game they are playing and even more uncertain about the guy leading them. This is exactly what you get when down deep (or not even so deep) you don't really believe in your captain or the course he has chosen through the waters.

Players are just not on board with the game plan because they are not really sure what it is, or they do know, and it stinks.

Yeah yeah. you got me this time. He was the best I saw in Spring Training pre-season games. I stand by that. Must have been his 5 years as a starter in NCAA I heard about?

That said....the Vikings are terrible now. The billion dollar receivers are sulking, merely going thru the motions. Not getting open. The line was not blocking either. No one would have performed on that unit.

That said....he threw one bad one while being tackled for a TD I think? A few others were high and Jefferson would not jump, did not seem to care. No one looked open. Shame if that is the last chance they give the guy. Could you imagine statue Kirk Cousins or Rogers or Gino facing that rush and behind a team that has quit?

SEA is good. They did not need the help from the MINN players. The QB is not all to blame.//
