The Pitt O-line could not stop anything on SD that game. It was over 2 series in.

I think Tomlin is highly overrated. He's a good talker and I guess a decent leader of men but his teams struggle too often and are, as you said, mediocre. The Rooneys should have moved on years ago but it almost seems like he's untouchable now.
I think he's been a good coach and I like the guy on a personal level from what I know. But the Steelers need to make a change even though I know they change coaches only, like, once every 25 years.

That's fair, but all the more reason to stop sending him out long every play. Let him get some YAC on 0 to 10 yard passes. Anything is better than 3 catches and 30 yards. He should get that on one drive not the whole game.

Again, they traded away their only deep threat in GP. If you run everyone short it's easy to defend. The route scheme has to make sense.

I watch every game.

Here is what I have said about DK.

1). Great Speed and Size.....A complete Stud.
2). Route Running....this was questioned as to why he dropped in the draft.....It's mostly true.
3). 50/50 balls on deep routes...... I have watched EVERY game he played, and the 50/50 toss up that Metcalf had a 50/50 chance to receive, turned out more like 25/75. How does a 6'4 STUD lose these 50/50 battles 75% of the time. Disclaimer...... I have watched EVERY Seahawk Metcalf Game, he can't win the 50/50 ball. <<<<<<<< This is HUGE.
4). Dropped Passes........ Often..... Now as a %, what is often? FACT.....More than MOST TOP Receivers.
5). Stupid retaliations Penalties...... OMG this happened way more than any OTHER Seahawk.


I was very happy to see his salary disappear (minus Dead Money) but this trade to PITT made The Seahawks BETTER.

Tomlin has gotten a lot of mileage out of that one Super Bowl win. Yes, the Steelers after the Big Ben era have appeared to play below the talent level on the field.
