However, I doubt this "school" is going to study real climate change. It will focus on perpetuating the silly and destructive AGW scam.

I, like pretty much all conservatives, would love to get the world off of fossil fuels.
The difference is, we are smart enough to know you can't turn that spigot off until you replace it with something equally as effective and not cost more than what the population can possibly pay.
And - NO - there are not self funded engineering schools working on solving energy problems.
What there is - is schools funded by organizations and political pressure that set both the boundaries and control the money in what they study.
A self supported engineering school that is not controlled by, essentially, lobbyist and politics could do wonders.

Actually I have an advanced degree in Environmental Engineering and I am a PE. Spent 30 years in the field and taught Environmental Science course at an university in my post retirement years. Not a climate expert but I know science bullshit when I see it and AGW is bullshit.

If it was real then there would no need for the jackasses to make up and cherry pick data, like we see all the time. Also, every once in awhile there dire predictions would come true.

I'm not a PE, but I am a PhD in geology/geochemistry. I even spent a year working at a major oceanographic research center as a tech and I've met some of the "names" in climate science. I found the science to be compelling.
